Merseyside Vehicle Assist is based at Unit 2, Hertford Street, Parr Industrial Estate, St Helens, WA9 1RL, and is responsible for the personal information you send us through this website. The website prepares a draft enquiry for you to send via your own WhatsApp or email application.
Website enquiry form
You can send an enquiry in three ways. If you choose Send enquiry, your details are sent securely from this website to MVA by email. We use Resend as our email delivery provider, and Cloudflare, who host this website, to run a Turnstile security check that stops automated spam. The website does not keep your enquiry in a database; it exists in our inbox and in the delivery provider's logs. If you choose WhatsApp or email, your browser only prepares a draft message. Nothing is sent until you press Send in that app, and your chosen messaging or email provider processes it.
What you may send us
Your enquiry may include your name, phone number, optional email address, vehicle details, registration number, description of the problem and recovery pickup and drop-off locations. Please do not include payment card details or other unnecessary sensitive information.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange and quote for recovery, roadside help, diagnostics or repairs, and keep a record of work carried out. We do not sell your information or use it for third-party advertising. Because you ask us to respond, we rely on taking steps at your request before a contract, and on our legitimate interest in running the business and keeping records.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages only for as long as needed to deal with your request and to meet our record-keeping and legal obligations, then delete them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To do this, email us using the address below. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies, security check and hosting
This website does not set its own advertising or analytics cookies. When the Send enquiry option is available, Cloudflare Turnstile runs a short bot check and may process technical information such as your IP address and browser details to do so. The hosting provider may also process technical request and security information to deliver and protect the site.
The website links to our public Facebook Page, but does not load any Facebook feed or embedded content. If you choose that link, Meta processes your visit according to its own privacy practices. The same applies if you choose WhatsApp to send an enquiry.
